Göttingen Minipig (GöMP)

HumanCells’ Göttingen Minipig (GöMP) hematologic products include whole blood and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs).

All our GöMP samples are collected from animals housed within the United States. You can choose from various options including male or female. All our products are from healthy animals that have tested negative for specific viruses.

GöMP whole blood is collected by venipuncture from healthy naive animals. We provide whole blood in heparin tubes as a default anticoagulant, but this can be customized to any anticoagulant.

GöMP PBMCs are isolated from freshly drawn whole blood from naive animals by density gradient. Pan-T CD3+ cells can be further isolated from PBMCs by immunomagnetic selection. Researchers can request specific genders, ages, and have the animals reserved for longer-term projects.

We recommend handling all products with precautions at biological safety level 2 (BSL2). When handling these products, do not use sharps such as needles and syringes. HumanCells cannot guarantee the biological function or any other properties associated with the performance of cells in a researcher’s individual assay or culture systems.
